The story will appear on the site in backwards order (since the last post is shown first), but I am going to be posting this in order on the Site Map page if it makes it easier for navigation purposes.

The Wanderer

This is a true story.

Back in the 1990s, a girl committed suicide after viewing an image posted in an old newsgroup.

The image was of a figure–which some identified as a woman–standing in the middle of a lonely road. The figure is transparent to the point that its legs are barely visible and is illuminated by an unknown light source coming from the direction of the camera. Whether it’s headlights, a hand-held flashlight, or the light of the camera itself isn’t known for sure, as the actual source of the image has never been identified. No facial features can be made out, but the figure is most easily identified by its long, bony appendages which partly resemble a spider’s legs. Those who have seen the image or know of its existence have come to know the figure in it as ”The Wanderer.”

One Man Hide-and-Seek

Introduction:

The one-man hide and seek, aka the one-man tag, is a ritual for contacting the dead.

Warning: If you have psychic abilities you may feel unwell or be prone to accidents during the ritual.

News for 7/29/2010

Quick update for today. Added a social media bar to appear at the bottom of most pages on the site so you guys can help get the word out for the site. Also added a new links section there on the right sidebar just above the calendar. Take note of the Who’s Online page at the top. Now you can see where the other visitors to the site are coming from.

Also made updates to the Videos section the other day. I’ll be adding more to that page as soon as I can, and I’ve also fixed the broken avatars issue in the Forums section.
