In Chasing the Shadows, documentary filmmaker Tim Schultz sets out on a 4-year journey for answers while exploring his own passion to know if an experience he had as a little boy could have been a ghost. He meets a cast of colorful characters including psychics, tarot reading wizards, paranormal investigators, skeptics, and scientists. His crew has journeyed into numerous haunted locations including the Stanley Hotel, which is famously known for inspiring the classic horror novel The Shining and The Myrtles Plantation, which is said to be the most haunted house in America. They also explore the birthplace of Voodoo located in Benin, Africa, and pay a visit to scientists studying paranormal phenomena in Italy.

The production of this film has been an extraordinary experience. If you accept that it is possible for a spirit to become stuck, for energy to haunt a certain location, no matter the cause of it, then it really brings up many questions about the nature of our true reality and life-after-death. The results are eerie, thought provoking, and often terrifying. His journey into the paranormal reaches a climax when he attempts to contact a friend who passed away during the making of the film.

Just wanted to post a quick note to let everyone know that I’m still around, and this site is still up and running. Due to the November – December holiday season it’s been rather busy and I’ve not been able to update the site with anything new. I will be working hard to change that around in the next few days, so stay tuned.

Just a quick note– I’ve removed the link to the forums, and in the next few days I will be dismantling that database. For the past year we’ve had forums and that part of the site just hasnt managed to take off, so I’ll be removing it from the site to free up some space that could be better used elsewhere. Sorry for the slow week everyone. Been real busy around here. I’ll be heading up to Brown Mountain this weekend though, to see the lights. Hopefully we’ll get some good stuff.

Going to be working on the site heavily today, so it might look a little messed up. Had some database problems overnight and working to get everything back to normal. Sorry for the inconvenience.

UPDATE 1: Fixed the nav links again (consolidated Videos and Gallery into one– Media) and removed the Who’s Online? link.

UPDATE 2: Going to be backdating some of the posts to get the right order. Sorry if the date isnt exactly correct, we’re doing the best we can. Also have streamlined the way the site is backed up, so this problem should be avoided from now on.

UPDATE 3: Added a link to the nav bar to register with the site. Going to be working on a way to bridge the accounts between wordpress and phpbb so that when you register (or log in) to Paranormal X, you’re automatically registered/logged in to the forums.
